This car was orginaly built by Renault to be a race car for autocrossing all across the US for publicity. It was ran for 2 years at many tracks across the US and then put into storage in Dallas Tx. In 1984 car was acquired by Larry Newberry and returned to its former glory. Car came with 4 new tires in car with receipt from 1960 when they were purchased. Tires were taken to Firestone the manufacture and tested. And put on car for racing, after results showed they were fine. Car was raced vintage circuit and autocross for next 2 years. Then sold to collector in Colorado. After setting another 25 years I bought car back. I have put new waterpump, radiator, brakes, floor matt, and having new headliner installed now. Wheels have been widened and has wide tires installed. Seats are in very good condition considering its age. However the car only has 7350 miles on it. It is in great shape. Engine has several moditications from Renault. One being Gordini head and exhaust. Car fires right up and sounds like little V8. Own a piece of auto history and be able to drive it at the same time.
